SUMMER MUSIC CAMP






Music Buddies Tutoring Program*

ages 4-7, 7-9,10-15

Monday, Thursdays from 2-9

Our second year of music buddies to begin soon!  Our student mentoring program focuses on having younger students develop and strengthen musical skills through weekly mini lessons hosted by some of our best advanced student pupils at our school.  There is no materials fee or course fee for this program, however enrollment for private lessons is required.

 

MUSIC II

Strings Workshops for the Acquisition of Technical Mastery
for the Left Hand.
4 week course
Saturdays
230-330 pm

Course Fee: $30.00 per class
Materials Fee: $5 student each week /$8 per Family
This is an upper level strings course for all strings students. Audition is not required, but students must be able to successfully read grade 3 Music. All students are to bring their own instrument, accessories, and music stands to this workshop.


BMS Youth Orchestra

Our schools youth orchestra program is open to all students who have had previous experience with violin, viola, cello or bass studies in their elementary, middle, or high school programs and are looking to extend their musical experience with other musicians in the area.  There is no audition required for the group, however, a commitment is required to all rehearsals, as well as events planned for the youth orchestra group for the school year.  All students are required to bring their own instruments, as well as music stands for all working rehearsals.  Sectionals are given prior to events planned, as well as group mentoring that is given to younger students by mentoring high school and college students in the orchestra.   Donations are requested from students families to cover cost of materials for the year, but not mandatory.
